Southern New Hampshire University entered into a multi-year partnership with Major League Soccer in 2015, becoming the League’s exclusive education partner. As part of the agreement, we worked with Colorado Rapids's goalkeeper and current SNHU student, Tim Howard, to film multiple television commercials. ​Some of the challenges we had to overcome on this project included only having a strict timeline of eight hours to film with Tim Howard and a few weeks before the video production, Tim was injured in a game and only had limited mobility while filming. For this broadcast commercials, I was involved in every step of the process from preproduction to production and post production. In the post production process, I acted as video editor, audio editor, color corrector/ color grading specialist, music sourcing expert, and I exported the finished videos with specific settings for both the different broadcast and social channels.

Through this agreement, SNHU will empower MLS players to pursue higher education degrees while also pursuing their careers as professional soccer players. MLS will provide exclusive learning opportunities and experiences to current SNHU students. Looking to communicate that a degree from Southern New Hampshire University is more than just a piece of paper, we shared the stories of students who are making an impact on the world using the skills and knowledge they gained at SNHU. This 30-second national broadcast commercial was part of a series surrounding this particular student that included both a 15-second nation broadcast commercial and a 90-second break out web video to tell a more in-depth story on the social channels. On YouTube alone, the 30-second broadcast commercial has received over 270k views. For all three videos, my role involved logging and tagging footage, and creating three separate stories from an hour-long interview. I acted as video editor, audio editor, color corrector, music sourcing expert, and I exported the finished videos
